How much time does it take each week to complete Eden Hope work?

Our Reston campus started an Eden Hope Afternoon this year.  From one until three, after Eden Hope in the morning, our older student read printouts from “Draw It Link It Describe It!” page on this site as a mom reads to our little ones.  We discuss the Bible verse and historical event together.  After, we might watch a few YouTubes from “Draw It Link It Describe It!”.  Then, we get out the faux fur, markers, colored pencils and start working!

In two hours, we complete the Eden Hope Activity Book and the timeline cards.  The rest of the week, moms spend about ten minutes a day reviewing the memory work.

Is memory work mandatory?

Memory work is never mandatory at Eden Hope Academy.  Our fantastically fun Eden Hope CD makes memory work fun.  Students love to sing the songs and remember the facts.  We never test or demand that the work be memorized, however.  We trust that each mom will make the best decision about how much to memorize for their children.
