Science: Dissecting a Pig Heart

I am always amazed at which children are grossed out by dissections and which love exploring and seeing how organs work.

Grace is our fifteen year-old science teacher.  She helped design the Eden Hope Activity books this summer and chose each experiment.  After studying the weeks’ science, she finds activities, work sheets and teaches at our Reston campus.

We discussed the functions of hearts, ventricles, arteries and the vena cava.
