Great Timeline Cards, 12/14

“I am nurturing a viper for the people of Rome” — Tiberius Caesar. Seriously, what do you teach a first grader about Caligula? It is very important for even our little guys to understand the culture during Jesus’ day, but Tiberius, Caligula, Nero, oh, I could go on and on, were just so vile and decrepit. We chose to talk about this quote for Caligula because it is a powerful representation of the mood of the time.



This is N’s Tabitha. N.’s mom printed out a coloring picture of Tabitha and helped N. glue it on.

K’s mom helped her make a Popsicle stick Tabitha.
This child’s Judas’ card has I think red nail polish, perhaps for blood? It also has silver coins.
